My little pony: Equestria girls
Well...
it didn't really.. give the feeling of people being able to be themselves and still have unity. The school was very divided, and while the point of the movie was to dissemble cliques and reunite friend who are very different it still made it seem like 'because people are different they can't be friends' and 'its unheard of for people to act abnormal unless they want to be laughed at'. It was very much circulated around 'perfect' images. And rainbow dash looked much too girly. She even wore a skirt.
Honestly, I feel like MLP: FiM is very liberating and anti gender stereotype, while MLP: EG was the opposite. The worse of all of it: It brought in a possible love interest for twilight which furthers the gender stereo types and even goes as far as sexualizing what seems to be a little kids show. Many of the girls were also drawn much too thin and their personalities were very girly compared to their pony counterparts. Overall, it was a good film for kids if it wasn't related to MLP. But Because its related to MLP it kinda ruined the series even more then Princess Twilight Sparkle did.
Overall it was like a kid friendly version of mean girls.

And their clothes...
